Chris is a results-oriented leader dedicated to building trust and transparency for over 30 years in healthcare. Within his focus and specialty in Surgical Services, he exhibits a thorough expertise in leading people, creating positive culture change, and facilitating performance improvement initiatives resulting in better reliability, higher quality and lower cost. Chris motivates others through honesty, integrity, collaboration and mentoring. Chris has held several executive leadership positions and consulted in settings ranging from top 10 academic centers to community hospitals across the globe, where he provided executive leadership and oversight into key clinical service areas and care redesign. Prior to entering the private sector, Chris proudly served in the US Navy, delivering high-quality and compassionate medical care to servicemen and women for 12 years.

Chris holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration and Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland- University College. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Nebraska Medical Center and is board certified as both a Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM) and Nurse Executive, Advanced (NEA-BC).
