Ramon Soto, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, Northwell Health

Northwell Health-supported national campaign aims to curb impact of firearm injuries and deaths on America’s youth
Firearm injuries are the number one killer of children and teens in the United States, making gun violence a public health crisis demanding immediate action. To combat this, New York's largest health system, Northwell Health along with the Ad Council and a coalition of health care leaders from across the country, launched "Agree to Agree." This groundbreaking social impact marketing campaign builds on the common ground a majority of Americans share on this often-divisive topic to educate multiple audiences—especially health care professionals who are at the forefront of ensuring children's safety—providing tangible, nonpartisan actions that can help decrease the impact of gun related tragedies on children and teens throughout the country.
In this session, Ramon Soto, Northwell's Chief Marketing and Communications Officer and Jose Prince, MD, Surgeon-in-Chief at Northwell’s Cohen Children's Medical Center, will share the new PSA effort and insights into the vital role clinicians and health care professionals play in curbing gun violence.
