Aaron Miri joined Baptist Health as Senior VP and Chief Digital and Information Officer in 2021, leading digital strategy, innovation, cybersecurity, and technology integration. With over 20 years of experience, his previous roles include CIO for UT Austin's Dell Medical School and UT Health Austin, CIO for Imprivata, CIO for Walnut Hill Medical Center, and CTO for Children's Health System of Texas.
Miri holds an MBA from the University of Dallas and a BS in Management Information Systems from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is a Certified Healthcare CIO, a distinguished Fellow with FHIMSS and FCHIME, and a PMP with the Project Management Institute.
Recognized as a 2021 “CIO to Know” by Becker’s Hospital Review and a 2020 Healthcare Hero Awardee by CHIME, Miri joined CHIME's Board of Trustees in 2022. Reappointed to the Health IT Advisory Committee (HITAC) by the US Senate in 2020, he also served on the Health IT Policy Committee during the Obama Administration. Miri advises the National Academy of Medicine and serves on various not-for-profit boards.
