Pallabi is currently Director of Clinical Operations for 'iQueue for Inpatient Flow' Product at LeanTaaS. She is also an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at UCSF and University of Colorado where she provides career counseling for residents and medical students. Prior to this role, she was at UCSF, as an assistant clinical professor and an academic hospitalist at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG) where she directed clinical operations for the Division of Hospital Medicine, and oversaw our Faculty Inpatient Services. She was also a Physician Advisor for Clinical Documentation & Integrity. She trained residents, faculty, and staff in social determinants of health, relationship centered communication, medical disclosure and am certified in Lean Healthcare Management. Pallabi’s interests include healthcare innovations and clinical operations. Other areas of interest include: patient safety/quality improvement in hospital systems through application of Lean Principles, relationship centered communication, and physician well-being.

Pallabi earned her Bachelors in Neuroscience and Systems from MIT. She went on to gain expertise in healthcare disparities, ethics, statistics at the Institute for Health Policy at Mass General Hospital prior to receiving my medical degree from University of Vermont. Thereafter, she moved to the west coast where she finished my Internal Medicine Residency at Scripps Green Hospital/Clinic in La Jolla, CA followed by a year as Chief Resident for the program. She then joined UCSD faculty as an academic hospitalist before ending up in the Bay Area at UCSF.
