Katrina Freitag, MN, RN, is an accomplished Perioperative leader recognized for her ability to translate strategy into results through collaboration, innovation, and operational expertise. With over 15 years of experience in healthcare, she has built a reputation for aligning teams, fostering system integration, and driving initiatives that improve quality, efficiency, and patient experience.

Currently serving as the Surgical Services Nurse Manager at MultiCare Health System’s Covington campus, Katrina partners with executive leadership and frontline teams to implement enterprise-wide initiatives that advance organizational “systemness” and create sustainable improvements across the patient care continuum.

Previous to her current role, Katrina has held leadership positions that span direct patient care, operations, and private sector organizational strategy, giving her a broad perspective across the healthcare continuum. She is known for her hands-on approach, willingness to “roll up her sleeves,” and ability to cultivate teams that thrive in complex, fast-changing environments.

Katrina earned her educational degrees from the University of Washington Tacoma, and continues to advance her expertise through ongoing professional development.
