A triple board-certified physician, he serves as an Internal Medicine- Pediatric hospitalist at WVU Medicine, associate chief quality officer for Internal Medicine, and medical director of access for J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. He is also the Mission Lead for Inpatient Internal Medicine. Mains is a graduate of Allegheny College and the Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at WVU and now serves as an associate professor. Although his work in medicine keeps him busy, Mains is also devoted to his family and involved in his children’s activities. He and his wife Lynn have three children, Maddie, Nolan, and Reese.
