Executive survey insights on leveraging tech to streamline hiring

To understand the opportunities and obstacles associated with leveraging technology for talent acquisition in healthcare, Indeed — in partnership with Becker's Healthcare — conducted a survey of 138 healthcare leaders. Survey respondents came from health systems, nonprofit organizations and academic medical centers, as well as community, critical access, rural and independent hospitals.

- To recruit employees, hospitals and health systems are using several talent acquisition tools, ranging from online recruiting solutions to more traditional, in-person programs.
- The most widely adopted approach is to post open positions on sites like Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor and others — 68% said they use these tools.
- Over half of survey respondents (59%) said they participate in job fairs and hiring events.
- 60% said AI plays either a prominent or quite a prominent role in hiring.
