SHIPPING OVERVIEW

The UPS Store at Swissôtel Chicago is a full service business center and the parcel management provider for the Swissôtel Chicago  and for our conference. UPS provides full service printing, faxing, scanning, computer timeshare, shipping, packaging, and 
parcel management services. 

All packages and freight deliveries to the hotel are managed through The UPS Store. To ensure proper processing, please address  all materials intended for guests as follows:

Please check out the UPS Shipping Kit for all details around shipping items to the show. For authorization forms, fill in pages 5 and 6  of the kit then submit to your Becker’s campaign manager via email. 

 

SHIPPING & MOVING LOGISTICS 

Please note there will not be an event contractor or conference labor available on site. 
If you have freight or packages weighing over 100 lbs, please coordinate your own laborers to assist with move-in and move-out.  
The freight elevators at the Swissotel are 39” wide, 71” deep, and just over 8' tall, packages that do not fit these dimensions will need to be  unpacked by the loading dock and taken to the hall in pieces. 
Large crates must be torn down / removed from the loading dock and cannot be housed onsite during the event.  

We recommend partnering with GES, who Becker’s has worked with at other show venues for shipping services. Learn about GES. 

 

IMPORTANT DEADLINES AND DELIVERABLES
•   October 12th - Submit the authorization forms on pages 5 and 6 of the UPS kit 
•   October 19th -  Direct shipments under 150 lbs may begin & tracking links must be submitted here
•   October 26th - Freight, crates, or direct shipments weighing over 150 lbs should arrive day-of move in.  
     (For large freight, please coordinate your own laborers to assist with move-in and move-out.)

•   Move in / move out times are kept up to date on the hall hours page.

Within the Swissotel, the UPS Store / Business Center are located on the Concourse level. From the hotel’s main lobby, take the  escalator down one level and you will find UPS located next to the Geneva room. 

To find the UPS store from Lugano / the dental exhibits, take the escalator up one level, and UPS will be on the right.
